Dear Twilight Fans;

Sun Nov 29, 2009, 5:24 AM
  • Mood: Bemused
  • Listening to: Esme playing with her necklace
  • Drinking: water
... My daughters name is Esme. No. I did not name her after one of your favourite vampire characters.

No. I did not name my daughter after a vampire.

No. I did not name my daughter after a vampire.

I don't care how "cute" you think it is.

I hadn't even heard of the series before I named her!

... Are you going to assume that every Edward you meed is named after the character? Every Jacob? (Which is one of the most common male names in North America).

Please.

Most people don't send their lives revolving around sparkly vampires and glitter blow-jobs.

So next time you ask,

"What's your daughter's name? She's So. Cute!"

You might want to consider asking Where I got the idea for her name from before you go all fangirl and squeal;

"Like, from Twilight?"

Thank you.

~Impatient Mother.

Deviant Woman of Many Talents- Master of none.

Enjoys loud music- and by loud we mean decibals, not rock. (Although Rock is enjoyed alongside sappy musical numbers, Chopin, [link] and Carolyn Dawn Johnson)

Walk on the backs of her toes
Sing her alphabet backwards
Hold her (almost) three year old daughter on one hip while balancing groceries on her arm and playing with the car keys in the other hand.
Remember nearly every song she's ever heard

Stand ignorance- IT IS NOT BLISS

oh, and, i agree- being in the dark is really frustrating!!! :rage: i have two lamps for my room already, but they just bring on a yellowish light that makes me feel like i'm not in pitch black, but i'm not in a happy bright place either :(

O___O ;;;;

WELL, so look at this! :)

[link]

the only BJD pattern i can find on etsy. it's not very expensive at all...although, looks like she hasn't sold a single one yet since listing it in august. hmmm.
But, she *has* sold a TON of those patterns for uh- those Blythe dolls.. which are ugly imo. but still, this idea could work. :)

i might buy this pattern to see how she does it

:icondiva-lee:
Hmmm..

Well, one of the problems that she has is that the pattern is a whole bunch of patterns in one. It isn't advertised very well at all.

the other thing is that since her other patterns seem to be for those huge-headed dolls, the SINGLE pattern she has for BJD is singularly overlooked.

In our shop, however, where you'll be aiming your doll clothes at BJD's, it shouldn't be hard at all to get some attention!

*and* you can always advertise on BJD websites!

true :D

at a second glance, i decided her clothes didn't actually come out looking that great. which is probably another part of it! our examples have to be really pretty :D

Oh yes. And where this will be a fitted pattern, I'm sure we can manage something really nice! :glomp: OMG...! I'm uuber-excited!

I mean we can make just.. tonnes and tonnes of stuff! WOOOOOOO!!!!
